Take a quick, private health survey. A licensed provider will review your answers to determine eligibility. If eligible, you’ll receive a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) within 1-2 days.

Submit HSA/FSA reimbursement

If you qualify, you’ll receive an LMN and a guide on how to submit your purchase to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement. Claims are typically paid out in 1-2 weeks.

How does using my HSA/FSA account save me money?
HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) funds are tax-free, meaning you don’t pay income tax on the money you use from these accounts. When you use pre-tax dollars for qualified health and wellness expenses—like coaching programs designed to treat or prevent a medical condition—you’re essentially saving 30% or more compared to paying out of pocket. Instead of spending $100 after taxes, you can use $100 directly from your HSA/FSA, keeping more money in your pocket.

FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) are tax-advantaged accounts offered by many employers. They allow you to set aside pre-tax money to pay for eligible medical expenses—including services that help treat or prevent a diagnosed condition. This gives you more value for every dollar you spend on your health.

If your coaching or wellness services at BioBoost are used to prevent or treat a medical condition, they may be eligible for reimbursement through your HSA or FSA when paired with a Letter of Medical Necessity through Truemed.

Absolutely. Just use your personal credit or debit card at checkout. Once approved, you’ll receive a Letter of Medical Necessity and submit your receipt for reimbursement through your HSA/FSA administrator.

A Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is a document from a licensed provider confirming that your wellness purchase is needed to treat or prevent a medical condition. It makes your purchase compliant with IRS guidelines and allows you to use HSA/FSA funds legally.
Truemed charges a one-time fee of $20 for your medical assessment and Letter of Medical Necessity—but only if you’re approved. There are no hidden charges.
You can use your funds once you’ve received your Letter of Medical Necessity. FSA dollars usually expire at the end of the year, so it’s smart to use them before the deadline.
Most people receive their LMN within 1–2 business days after completing their health intake through Truemed.
At this time, Truemed services are specifically for those with an active HSA or FSA account. If you don’t have one, you can still work with us—just use your regular payment method at checkout.

Truemed is currently only available to U.S.-based customers with active HSA or FSA accounts. If you’re located internationally, you can still invest in your health using standard payment options.
